For sale here is my 1992 Toyota Landcruiser Prado SX (LJ78). It was purchased by myself in 2004, shortly after it was imported from Japan. I have thus owned and cherished the vehicle for 22 years. It is MOT'ed until July 2027. It is powered by a 2.4 turbo diesel engine and an automatic gearbox with overdrive. It can be used in two wheel or four wheel drive, switchable via an electric switch on the dash including hub-locks or by a gear lever on the floor which incorporates a low ratio drive. Bearing in mind the vehicle's age, it is in very good condition both inside and out and drives well. Current Mileage is 98873 or 159,263 km. In appearance it is striking with a factory-fitted, stainless steel bull-bar on the front and a ladder attached to the nearside back door. Otherwise, it is as original with no modifications. It is the long wheel-based version with six doors. As it has three rows of seats and it is able to seat eight people although the rear row has limited legroom. The rear row can easily be removed for greater carrying capacity. The bodywork colour, as can be seen from the photographs, is two-tone. The upper colour is metallic grey and the lower a dark blue. There are a couple of slight car-park door 'dings' but need to be looked for, rather than standing out. Air-conditioning is fitted but not working. The tyres are in almost new condition.
