This is our Ford KA+ which we've now decided to sell as our youngest daughter has relocated to London and it simply isn't being used as much as it should be. We bought the car in 2017 and it's been part of our family ever since. For most of that time it was used by me and my husband for work, and over the last three years both of our daughters have passed their driving tests and used the car. One of the main reasons we've kept it for so long is because it's been incredibly cheap to run, insure and tax. Both of our girls insured it themselves after passing their tests and found it very affordable. We have full service history and it has been serviced every year without fail. With our daughters driving it, my husband has always been particularly meticulous about keeping on top of the maintenance, and it is currently serviced up to its present mileage. It had four new tyres around six months ago and a complete new exhaust around a year ago. A couple of years ago we were also advised, due to the age of the car, to have the timing chain replaced, so we had that done rather than taking any chances. For its age it has been kept in lovely condition. There is a slight scuff from reversing into the garage and a small area of paint missing on the front wing after a mishap at the car wash I'd rather mention these so there are no surprises. The car has been garage kept, and we are a non-smoking household with no pets travelling in the car. We've always tried to keep it clean, tidy and properly maintained. It's been a genuinely reliable little car for our family and particularly good for our daughters as new drivers. We simply don't have the need for it anymore now our youngest has moved to London.
