Selling my 2009 Land Rover Freelander 2 XS - Facelifted being sold as spares/repairs. Suspected PTU/gearbox issue. Car is driveable but obvious whirring noise - especially in 5th and 6th gears. MOT until 18/03/27 Very well loved and cared for, owned by me for the last 6.5 years. Will genuinely be missed but cost of repairs means selling. Hoping I can find someone who can give it a few more years. The good Facelifted front bumper, boot handle, headlights, taillights, leather seats and door cards & 18" alloys from 2013 model. 1 of a kind custom leather steering wheel, custom made in Germany Roof bars and sidesteps Cambelt & water pump done at 99k miles The not so good Suspected PTU/gearbox issue Overdue for service Will need tyres soon Dings and scratches in line with a car of this age Summer weather has made the headlining in the rear start to sag Last MOT mentioned corrosion starting on subframe which will need treating before it progresses Bonnet close sensor needs replacing I will not break for parts.
