We purchased this vehicle as a stopgap run-around. The car had only one key when it was purchased last year, so we purchased a second key with VW in Hampstead (very expensive). The car had a Full Service last November, a health check this September, and passed MOT last week. A starter motor fault came up, which was investigated and found to be related to an old battery, so we installed a brand-new high-performance battery. The vehicle also has brand-new front brake pads and discs. Rear has most likely another year or more to go. All tyres are within limits and have no bulges. The body is in excellent condition, with two small marks visible in the pictures. A chip on the windshield, the size of a 5p. All in all, an extremely reliable vehicle from a quality manufacturer at a great price. Very low insurance and running costs, a reliable VW with extra space. An excellent vehicle, especially considering its age. No majors
