Description
2009 Renault Laguna Dynamique S 2.0Dci 150BHP Racing Green Hatch
95,750, 2 keys, MOT until 7th Jan 2027, 4 previous owners.
High spec, powered by the reliable and economical 2.0Dci 150BHP diesel engine (timing chain) and surprisingly quick acceleration with no smoke whatsoever, gears change smoothly. Starts on the button. No warning lights on the dash. There is sort of a humming noise, not very loud, at 50 or 60mph which gets less once the car has warmed up. Generally in a good cosmetic condition with some marks commensurate with age which I've tried to show - the last 3 pictures show an area where small amount of paint and lacquer has come off on the boot area and there is a ding on the drivers side sill.
Front heated electronic adjustable seats (driver seat adjustable lumbar support), electronic handbrake. Front/rear parking sensors. Tyres mix of brands but all have good tread. Electric windows all round & side mirrors. Spare tyre and kit in the boot well.
Last service April 2026; rear disks and pads; air, oil & cabin filters & oil change. Some main dealer history, the rest from 2017 and 2018.
After I bought, had it checked out by a mechanic visually and also a driving check. Air-con re-gassed in August (recently had a new air-con clutch the mechanic informed me), new boot struts, Bosch wipers and LED side lights fitted.
I bought the car in July this year and have tried to get along with it, but have decided to sell as the seats are too firm for me as is the suspension, especially as this is the Dynamique 'S' sport version. Since buying, I have found out that all Mk3 model Lagunas have more dense and firmer seats and suspension is set up harder compared to the Mk2. I previously had a Mk2 Laguna for 16 years and expected this to have the same softer feel. I've a back problem otherwise would have kept as in every other regard it seems fine. I have since bought another older low mileage Mk2 Laguna.
Test drive - I have left it road taxed for now so that any potential buyer can test drive it but you will have to get your own short-term car insurance (such as 'Cuvva') to test drive (and hopefully buy and you can also then drive it home on it), or I can buy the Cuvva car insurance cover and take you for a test drive. I'm happy to go halves on either option which indicates you're a serious buyer. An hour or two cover is minimal cost, about a tenner.
Best time to contact me is afternoon onwards.
