Recent MOT with only one or two advisories
I have owned this car for over a year, but it has mainly been used as a spare vehicle, as I use a company vehicle for my daily driving. This Audi has only been used occasionally at weekends for short local journeys, usually within a 5-10-mile radius. Unfortunately, we simply don't use it enough, which is the only reason for selling.
During my ownership, I have carried out the following maintenance myself, using genuine or good-quality parts rather than cheap alternatives:
All brake discs and pads replaced
Engine oil changed twice, approximately every six months
Glow plugs replaced
Fuel pressure sensor replaced
I also have some service history and paperwork from the previous owner. The available service invoices cover approximately £5,000 in previous maintenance and repairs, demonstrating that money has been spent on looking after the vehicle.
The engine and gearbox run well, and the automatic gearbox changes gears smoothly. The car is comfortable, spacious and practical, making it a great family vehicle or a suitable car for someone who needs towing capability.
-Faults and Things to Be Aware Of-
The ABS warning light is currently illuminated on the dashboard. The car was left unused for approximately four to five months last winter, and the battery went flat. I subsequently started the car using a jump starter, and the ABS light has remained on since then. It may require proper diagnostic testing to identify and resolve the cause.
The engine management light comes on and off. Currently there is no enging check light. A diagnostic scan showed fault code P200200, relating to the DPF filter.
I have treated the DPF using a good-quality cleaning spray.
