For sale is my 996 40 Jahre. Of the three 996s I have owned, this is my favourite - to put that into context, the competition was a no sunroof c2 and a turbo (both manual)************** 66k Miles- HPI Clear**********All of the usual 40 Jahre goodies including :- X51 pack, GT Silver, Dark grey leather interior and aluminium interior pack, LSD, M030 sports supension. Full Adjustable Heated Electric Seats, Bose Speakers, PCM Navigation, Tilt and Slide Sunroof, NO Rear Parking Sensors (I hate the look on a 911 so for me this is a bonus, Digital Climate Control. *************** In 2015, when the previous owner aquired the car (only 6000 miles ago!) he spent 5k on a major service, to include RMS, clutch, flywheel, front and rear pads and discs and a number of other bits and pieces. Having owned a c2 needing a new clutch, I can tell that this does not need a new clutch - the gear change is as you would expect from a 6000 mile old clutch********** In my ownership, I have replaced the Dansk backboxes with Spyder Performance valvetronic backboxes after watching a video on Youtube (SOUND UP! Ultimate Porsche 996 aftermarket exhaust group test comparison!) and concluding it produced the sound I liked the most. I have also fitted "Alex's SSK kit" to reduce the gear throw. The Dansk backboxes and original gear linkage are available if required********** The car will revert to its original plate, P16 LCA. You can see it on the landing page of with its proud owner before me********** MOT until 31st March 2025. The MOT history is a thing of wonder, and reflects how well I believe this car has been looked after since it was first tested in 2007. It has had no fails, and 3 advisories - in each case for aged tyres only. The most recent advisory has not been addressed. The tread on all tyres is good but there are some slight cracks on the rear tyres as noted********** Recent Maintenance:- Major Service (October 2023), A/C condenser o-rings, coolant hose, exhaust hanger (work done in March 2024, delay due to labour shortage), sunroof seal and battery replaced (June 2023) (all @ Nine Excellence) Next MOT due 31/03/2025, Silver, 5+ owners, £34,000
