Description

Nissan Elgrand E51 X 3.5l 2005 Dual Fuel LPG/Petrol - This is a slightly unusual X model E51 in that it has all the optional extras added in to make it up to the top XL model including the full leather interior, two video screens, keyless entry, folding wing mirrors, heated front seats and reversing camera as well as the motorised sliding doors, twin sunroofs, motorised curtains, built in inverter and zoned climate control. There is a professionally fitted towbar and it has a heads up GPS speed unit in MPH. An LPG conversion has been fitted with a 90ltr tank. Running on petrol gives me around 23 MPG average and on LPG around 21 MPG which makes for a significant running cost improvement. The full leather seats are in very good condition for the age of the car with the most wear showing on the driver's seat as you'd expect. Most of the rear seats show very little signs of use. There are no rips anywhere. There is a full set of original carpets throughout, all of which are in good condition - I'm told this is quite rare to see as they will often have been removed by the time the cars are imported from Japan. Also a rarity is the intact rubber floor strips (the little flaps covering the tracks in the floor for the seats to slide forwards and back). These typically deteriorate with time and use and are often missing. There are a few minor defects. The bodywork is great for the age with a few small stone chips and a few small marks in the paintwork which can be seen if you get close and look for them. I did notice one very small dent on the passenger door pillar while cleaning it that I hadn't noticed before. The alloy wheels have some age related bubbling to the paint and some scuffs and would benefit from being resprayed. The passenger side wing mirror doesn't fold in on the motor (but can be pulled in by hand). This wasn't working since before the car was imported. The sliding door motors both work properly but the driver's side has a cable which needs replacing. The cable is the sort used for bike brakes and needs threading through to replace the original one which has broken (the original one corroded and then snapped). The only other thing I can think of as an issue that people look for when buying a car is the service history. That paperwork seems to be rarely available when these cars are imported. As such there is no service history although servicing has been done. Oil, filters and all brake pads were replaced recently. Next MOT due 12/10/2024, No service history, Beige, 2 owners, £8,000
