MGF VVC 1998 Tahiti Blue Pearlescent 64k miles This extremely pretty car has been in our family for 22 years. My son bought it in 2002 with 17k miles on the clock, and I bought it from him in 2005 when it had covered 34k miles. The car is all original with full service, full MOT history and now has the very low mileage of 64,430. Extras are: Cream leather seats and trim, 10 CD autochanger (in the boot), linked to the MG radio cassette which has detachable keyboard for security. Windstop (improves comfort at speed considerably) Luggage rack for boot lid The car is great fun to drive, and fantastic in any nice weather. In recent years our use of the car has reduced considerably, in fact the car has only been driven 4000 miles in the last 10 years. We now have an electric car as our main vehicle, and have solar panels for free electricity, and I am finding it difficult to justify using the MG at all so it has been SORNed for the last 3 years. This is a great shame as it deserves to be used, and I miss the open top motoring, but I have finally decided it is time to part company. The car has been garaged at our house since 2005. I have a sheaf of paperwork including all MOT's and all receipts going back to 1999 when the car had covered 2500 miles. The major mechanical jobs that have been done include: 55,000 miles Head gasket 64,388 miles i.e. only 50 miles ago!! Removal of engine/transmission, replace clutch, timing belt kit including water pump, gear linkage bush kit (1200 pound invoice)The car is in good mechanical order with nothing requiring attention as far as I know. I have renewed the MOT each year even when it has been off the road, and the last one was carried out on April 25th this year.The paintwork is in extremely good condition as can be seen from the photos.
