I purchased this from Perry's Vauxhall dealership in Sturry, nr Canterbury in Kent, in 2001. It was an ex-demonstrator, for this model. I am only the second owner & got it when it was just 6 months old. In my ownership, of 23 years, the car has either been in my garage, or on my driveway. More recently, since 2016, it has been stored in my garage over the winter months, to reduce wear and tear. I was fortunate enough to do this, due to access to another car. The car is in standard GSI form, only modifications are: Wind deflectors all around, shark fin aerial & Kenwood Mask stereo, with 10 cd changer. Original stereo is still available & will be sold with the car. I have also painted the brake callipers red. Recently, had the wheels refurbished & powder coated & had the bonnet, front bumper, front wings, rear spoiler & boot lid resprayed. Last year, the windscreen was replaced after the original was beginning to delaminate & seal had worn. Front & rear number plates are the original ones displaying the dealership name. Car is still complete with the original 2 keys. I have a large record of the car's maintenence history including bills, although not a full service history, as I carried some work myself. This record is all kept in it's original leather wallet. The interior has never been smoked in & has no tears or rips in the seats. All in good condition, the gear & handbrake gator have been replaced with matching style, to the original ones, due to the originals cracking through wear. I also added an Irmscher handbrake grip. Unfortunately, the roof lining has started to sagg, slightly. Other than this, the interior is in very good condition. Everything works, as it should. No warning lights on dash, no broken switches, electric windows and central locking work perfectly. The air conditioning blows cold & has been re-gassed. To conclude, the car has recently had a new Bosch battery installed too & I would like to add that the car has always started on the button, runs well & would make a good everyday runner or, like myself, enjoyed and cherished in the Summer months.
