Description
A fine example of Volvos well sought after V70R. Not to be confused with the lesser T5.I had this vehicle imported from Japan by SmileJV in 2021. I spent some time looking for one with the desirable Atacama interior. When the car arrived the gearbox was hard shifting into 3rd. Further investigation at a local Volvo specialist revealed the gearbox valve body as being the issue. This was replaced at a cost of over 1200 and I have the receipt to prove this. Also in my ownership I have completed the following:-IPD anti ping axel bolts -New genuine front 4c shocks/springs/top mounts from IPD.-x4 Michelin pilot sport 4 tyres, all with near full tread.-4 wheel alignment on a proper hunter alignment machine.-clocks changed to MPH and km to miles. This was done at BHP imports in North Shields at a cost of over 500. The original dials are still in the glove box. The car is reading its correct mileage of 62k.-IPD engine top mount. In the last month the car has had:-fresh MOT with no advisories.-new discs/pads all round.-genuine timing belt/water pump.-full service using genuine parts.-haldex service. The car presents beautifully and drives flawlessly. The brakes are sharp and powerful, stopping the car in a straight line. The gearbox is silky smooth and behaves exactly how it should. The engine is not making any untoward noises, does not smoke, uses no oil and has plenty of power. If you want an M3 then this isn't the car for you, but if you want a superbly comfortable, handsome, versatile, rare, powerful and low mileage mile muncher then this is it.The car will take care of daily duties without breaking a sweat and still look fabulous at a car meet.As standard these cars are very well equipped. This particular car has auto xenon lights, auto windscreen wipers, cruise control, x4 electric windows, electric sunroof, electric drivers/passenger seat, climate control, 4c adjustable suspension, full atacama leather on the seats and doors, with matching atacama carpet and a fabulous Volvo sound system.Everything works, there are no electrical or mechanical faults. It's been fitted with an iPod connection and now it does pick up British radio as I had BHP sort that for me when they did the clocks. I'm in the north east and it only picks up Smooth or radio 2.There are some marks on the car commensurate with its age and the fact it's travelled 1000's of miles by boat. The car is immaculate underneath. Silver, £11,495
