MG TF 2006 1.8 135 Sonic Blue - 31k miles - Soft ride comfort suspension - V spoked alloy wheels, leather seats, front fog lights, wind deflector. According to MGTF experts this car (which was one of the last built at Longbridge in 2005) is one of the best buys. By the time it was built the head gasket issues had been resolved and they now offered a much improved ride through softer springs, re-specified dampers and thicker anti-roll bars. They also had desirable glass windows in their soft tops. This one also also has front fog lights and a wind deflector. These particular models can be easily identified as the TF letters on the back are in the middle of the boot rather than on the left hand side. There are not too many of these available and this one was the 505th MG TF in Sonic Blue out of only 520 and only 31 of these had the Sonic Blue/Black leather combination. This car was not registered until 1st Oct 2006 so is one of the latest registrations for cars built at Longbridge. It is currently on my private plate but you can see the original registration on one of the photos. I won't take it off my private plate until it is sold. I've enjoyed owning it for over 5 years but don't really use it enough so it deserves a new home! It was owned by a lady for the first 3 years then a retired gentleman (like me) owned it for 10 years. We both kept it garaged and only used it in dry weather so it remains in excellent condition. I had it fully serviced at 28551 mileage by an independent MGTF specialist (who also confirmed it wasn't necessary to change the head gasket). They did a full service with new cambelts, waterpump, tensioner and they did an antifreeze refill. They also fitted stainless steel underfloor coolant pipes as the originals can rust. Current MOT which is advisory free runs until 22nd August 2024. I had a new battery fitted by RAC with a 5 year guarantee on 28/01/2020.There are two keys and the service booklet and all paperwork/MOT's from myself and the second owner. There is also a workshop manual and a heritage certificate produced by probably the country's most knowledgeable MGF and TF specialist.
