1984 Mini Mayfair, as you can see this is no longer a Mayfair. The car had came to me about 5 years ago where it was a nut and bolt rebuild. It was not really a Mayfair before I got it. Should be MOT and Tax free in October 2024 as it will hit the 40 year mark. The car was in quite a state when I bought it and I spent 4 years replacing panels and removing all the rust. I have a youtube diary showing it being build and the condition it was in, , still videos to be uploaded. This car is rust free, painted brilliant sporty blue which makes the chrome pop. Car fully raptor coated for underside and inner panels.All new electrics, modified by Wiredbywilson to accommodate the new LED headlights and dials. Custom Savage button switches by wiredbywilson. Metro A+1275 engine, Hif44, stripped and checked for issues. 13" wheels, paddy hopkirk short shifter, No engine modifications made. Engine and car checked over by Mini Works in East Lothian and the car is running brilliantly. Lots of new components and 2 new tyres. Stereo upgraded and installed with a 320w amplifier and full range vibe speakers. New cones and dampers all round, fully carpeted and sound deading. Minilite wooden steering wheel. 13" Allycat wheels, upgraded 4 pot metro calipers. New fuel and brake lines.Paddy hopkirk short shifter.
