Here is my V8 X5 workhorse. I bought this car last year needing a bigger car for work and a European round trip that was still interesting without compromising on performance and that's where I found the 4.4 X5 and in particular this low mileage example. In my ownership it's had a full oil service with 8 new ignition coils and 8 new spark plugs. The rocker cover gaskets were leaking and were replaced, the thermostat was replaced as well as coolant hoses and a coolant refresh. There was also smoke from the exhaust so a new genuine catalytic converter was fitted which came from Munich BMW. Suspension has also been overhauled with new rear springs and front control arms. Bonney struts have been replaced as well as the drivers door handle carrier which is a common failure spot on these cars. The front tyres were also replaced and the car has full service history and comes with a spare in the boot and fully panoramic roof which works and an air con re has this summer. The bodywork has got marks and scratches but I bought and restored this car to be mechanically sound rather than a show model. Now that I no longer need a bigger car for work and I have just come back from my European round trip in it which was flawless I am ready to sell her and hopefully find another enthusiastic owner.
