Description
Welcome to the advert for my Vauxhall Insignia SRI 2.0 CDTI Estate in a rare deep blue colour. I have owned the car for just shy of 3 years. I bought the car on roughly 86,000 miles and have come to sell on just over 129,000 miles. It will rise slightly as it will be in use. MOT is overdue 22nd Aug awaiting recall at Vauxhall currently as they await parts for rear toe links. Ad will be updated when MOT done. Tax is around 165 a year. The car has been a dream to own and has been the most reliable and cheapest to run. I have carried out just about all maintenance on this car. During this time, it has had new discs all round and recently a 2nd lot of new pads all round. Bosch wipers front and rear a few months ago. A new battery December 2023. Rear right calliper had seized on last year and had been replaced by a garage with a brake fluid flush as well. I got the timing belt & water pump done by a garage also a few months into owning the car around January 2022 on 89k miles. March 2024 I replaced the auxiliary belt and tensioner as this had shown signs of wear. I have fitted a reconditioned turbo from Turbo Diesels (bought online) as the original had started to rattle under load and have reduced performance, with all new gaskets and hardware. The car pulls strong and feels a fraction of its age and mileage. MPG - on motorways it happily does 50mpg+ at 70mph, and 60mpg+ if doing around 60-65mph, all with cruise control on. Round town it's low 40's. My partner uses the car for work as well as me so has a fair bit of town usage as a result. As shown in photos, long term is 46.5mpg which is very respectable. I have also carried out all services since getting the car and have noted in the service booklet. It was last serviced 16/06/24 on 126,824 miles. I have always serviced every 6-12 months on average every 8000 miles replacing air filter, oil filter, oil and the pollen filter once or twice. Fuel filter was also done last month. Prior to my ownership, there are a few invoices in the paperwork I will pass on for turbo charge pipe. New rear suspension. As shown in pictures, it's not showroom condition. It's has been a well used car. It's served us well moving house and away on camping weekends. Scotland. Cornwall. Commuting. Everything in between. As a result it has some door dings and scuffs to show. Worst is the left wing which we noticed returning to in a car park. I will be sad to see the car go but we are getting a newer petrol car hence listing for sale Next MOT due 22/08/2024, Blue, 5+ owners, £2,650
