Description
2005 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S | I spent 5 years looking for my first 911 and through all the iterations the 4S is always going to come out on top. They hold the road the best, they have proper power over the non S and their values are the safest. I've used this car to commute, so it hasn't been sat for ages or do lots of short journeys. I'm pretty particular about letting it warm up properly even giving it the few mins to let the revs drop down before moving it an inch. It's a high spec car with sports exhaust (PSE) and PASM. It also has the hard back seats which are very comfortable for longer drives whilst also give a much better look when walking back to the car. It has done just over 97,000 miles so it's got some stone chips and marks around it but I wanted a car I could use daily and drive 400 miles in a day if needed. The 6 speed manual makes sure it's an engaging drive whilst the four wheel drive system gives you confidence when you're driving down the motorway in the pouring rain. In the past 12 months it's had a full service including spark plugs and new coil packs. It's also had a water pump and as that was off I asked them to put a low temp thermostat in to help the engine longevity. More recently it's had some new suspension arms and a four wheel alignement. All of this work was done by the highly regarded Porsche Specialist - Nine Excellence. If it ever needed anything, I would take it there. In its previous life it was maintained by Cridfords, again another well respected Porsche specialist. There it had the all important RMS & IMS bearing replaced, a must for this engine. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, the car is in Reigate, Surrey. Viewings in the evening or weekends are best but I work from home a couple days a week too if that's easier. Next MOT due 30/03/2025, Full service history, Grey, 5+ owners, £24,997
