Description
A clean and solid example of an early XK8 Coupe, finished in Antigua blue with cream leather interior trim, and Burr Walnut veneer, sitting on 'Flute' 18 inch alloys, all in great condition. Very highly specified by the original owner well beyond the usual Jaguar refinements, with a premium Harman-Kardon sound system (with original code and working LCD display), with CD multichanger and power amp in the boot. It also has upgraded CATS active suspension, heated seats, and cruise control (surprisingly uncommon on these cars). There are minor paintwork blemishes, and signs of use on the drivers seat, as you would expect on a car of this age, though it benefits from a recently replaced headliner. Overall, it still looks great, with the shiny metallic blue particularly suiting the shape and classic lines of the coupe. Underneath, it is in particularly good condition, having obviously been well protected and looked after from new. The MOT history check shows no advisories or any mention of corrosion at any point, something quite rare on these cars. The tester at its most recent MOT stated it was one of the best he'd seen for a long time. Previously, all brake discs and pads have been replaced, along with many of the steel and flexi pipes, and notably, the ECU, troublesome on these early cars, was professionally overhauled in December last year, so the car runs and drives perfectly, with no faults, warning lights, or messages. This XK8 comes with the original book pack, plus the 'glove box' folder, two original keys and two remote fobs. Next MOT due 10/01/2025, Part service history, Blue, 5+ owners, £3,675
