Description
4.0 XJ Cherokee with low mileage for the age. Orvis trim, includes leather seats, wood effect panelling, Orvis running boards etc - feels suitably "luxury" inside. I've had the car since February and intended to use it as a daily driver to replace another car that I intended to sell but didn't. Toyed with the idea of restoring/modifying it as a toy, but decided against it, but would be ideal for an enthusiast who loves these cars. It's been used weekly to get to/from the station and done a couple of longer drives. 4wd was stuck but has been cleared up and now seems to work fine. There are the usual dings in the bodywork from the age of the car, and it does have a crack in the passenger side of the windscreen that was present when I bought it which was soon after last MOT, current MOT valid until December. Notes on the last MOT mention corrosion underneath so have included some photos - it doesn't seem bad to me but of course shows its age. Since I've had it I have done a few bits and had some bits done, most notably having transmission pan off, a clean and a replace of fluid, added a working stereo, fixed boot catch and repaired electric windows and locks. Well worth a look for someone who loves jeeps as the 4.0 engine is famously long lived and this one has less than 100k on the clock. Next MOT due 28/11/2024, Purple, 5+ owners, £3,850
