Golf GTI 25th Anniversary in Reflex Silver- no. 263. There were only 300 made in each colour in the 1.8T engine. Super low ownership - only three owners from new - the last one having the car for over 18 years. Completely original car with no modifications (quite rare to find one of these not messed around with). Starts on the button, drives exactly as it should, no knocks or bangs - no smoke etc. Turbo spools perfectly - feels like much more power than 180bhp. Air condition is ice cold, central locking working etc. Full Service History including timing belt & water pump 6 months ago, major service inc Spark Plugs, oil,air & pollen filters- all genuine/ original parts. The coolant was replaced at the same time, again genuine VW parts (I might have a spare brand new lite of coolant top up). The original book is in place along with all the receipts. I fitted 4 brand new Michelin Pilot Sport tyres only a month ago.Bodywork looks brilliant for a 22 year old car as you can see in the photos. It has a few age related scratches but nothing major at all - a good polish would have it looking even better than it already does, I've just not had the time / skill to give it the attention it deserves. Interior is one of the best I've seen & looks brand new in places. Drivers seats bolster a little bit soft if I was being critical, but no wear to the cloth. Brand new floor mats, I have the original set just has a bit of wear on the drivers mat. There are even stickers still in place from factory in places (rear seat belts). I viewed a number of these before buying this one. They'd either been modified - or the condition let them down & took months of searching to find one with such low ownership, the condition presented & the servicing all together. I really don't want to sell, but I'm getting a company car this month & my girlfriend already has an Audi TTS so this will just be sitting there not being driven.
