We are very reluctantly selling our VW Caravelle in order to fund our purchase of a full campervan. We would love to keep it and are gutted to be parting company with it. This has been the perfect lifestyle vehicle for our family of 4 and it has provided us with so many biking, paddle boarding and camping adventures. The van has a low mileage for its year (was a 3rd vehicle for us) and is in perfect working order with everything working exactly as it should. In our ownership we have had a towbar and electrics added (never towed, only used for bike mounted towbar) along with full roof bar system (rails and 3x cross bars) as well as side steps. The internal layout consists of 6 individual captains style chairs. The rear 4 chairs all swivel 360 degrees so can face forwards or back, and all include a very handy built in storage drawer underneath. They can all slide forwards and backwards on the rail system and can also be completely removed. They can be positioned around the pop up table which is really handy and features cup holders as well as storage pockets. It also has built in window blinds and heating/AC vents throughout the rear. The van was serviced and MOT'd in January 2023 so has about 4 months left on this. All new tyres were fitted last year/approximately 5k miles ago. We have both keys and a folder full of paperwork and receipts. Mechanically, the van is absolutely sound and has been very cheap and easy to run and maintain. Externally, the bodywork shows plenty signs of use with small bumps/scratches and the odd door ding, particularly down the passenger side. Some of these were there when we purchased and some happened under our ownership. None are in any way serious and though they could be easily sorted, we were never inclined to do anything about them, but if you are looking for an absolutely pristine van then this may not be for you. This is already reflected in the price. As with all caravelle's it is technically registered as an MPV which means normal car insurance and car speed limits and it counts as a normal car on things like ferries (and at the tip!). The van is best viewed to be appreciated, especially if you aren't all that familiar with these vans as they really are brilliant vehicles. I've given the van a quick wash for photos and viewings but am happy to have it fully valeted once a sale is agreed if the buyer wishes. Happy to answer any questions.
