Description
Landrover defender TD5 County Station wagon. 2000 W Reg. 119k miles. MOT until 17th Jan 2025. Previous advisory on Passenger Front Wheel bearing play so I had the wheel bearing changed a couple of weeks ago. Good condition, especially when you consider it's 24 years old. It's had the oil pump bolt checked, and replaced! (There is a common problem for early TD5's to leave Landrover with loc-tight missing from the a bolt on the oil pump, over time the bolt can work its way loose and ultimately royally damage the engine). She last had a significant service about 12 month ago, all the fluids where changed, including the gearbox and diff's. She hasn't really done the miles since to justify another oil change. The car is completely standard with the exception of the stereo, which is a more modern Bluetooth stereo, and the speakers have been changed (they're only marginally better than the originals to be honest!). And I've fitted roof bars for a tent box, which has been used a total two times. The only negative I can think of is the headlining is dropping slightly at the front, near the sunroof. The backing board is solid, if I find time in the near future I'll probably take it down and re glue it properly. The chassis is all solid, it's had the rear section done at some point in the past, it's a very good job because I can barely tell where it's been welded. I had a drivers side out rigger replaced last September, and has the chassis wax oiled at the same time. It could probably do with wax oiling again at some point before winter. I can't think of anything to add, but feel free to ask any questions. I probably respond better via email during work day hours. Next MOT due 17/01/2025, Red, 4 owners, £17,995
