A great all-round, easy to drive, versatile family vehicle that can be configured in more ways than a Lego set (See the pictures); it really is an MPV = Multi Purpose Vehicle. Lovely airy open driving position with great mirrors and easy steering and two fully working sunroofs. With its previous modest use it feels like you are only driving a seven to ten year old car My neighbour's car that he has finally given up driving after he celebrated his 86th birthday. He bought it at only six months old (Feb 2004 - I have his old log book by way of verification) as an ex-demonstrator and has obviously managed to only average 2,000 miles a year since! I have taken it on over the past four months whilst I had work done on the car that I am keeping. With such a low mileage I'm reluctant to get rid, but I need a tow bar and something a bit heavier to tow our caravan: hence the sale. When I took it on it had a lot of wee faults from disuse, needed an MOT and a full service. The primary fault was the leaking sunroofs due to completely blocked sunroof drains. These have been replaced and the car dried out (yes-it took a couple of months!). I have since fully cleaned it to remove the last of the 'pond smell'. I've done a bit over 6,000 miles of fault free driving plus all the maintenance. The car, unsurprisingly, now drives like it's only half a dozen years old. 45mpg realistically achieved on a combined run. Iron block (2.0litre) D4D Turbo-Diesel one of the better reliable diesel engines usually good for 250k+.It's the 'T-Spirit' so it's got most of the extra 'toys' fitted: they all work (save the A/C). MOT until 7th Feb 25, no advisories. Timing Belt changed at 58,800 miles (We have Receipt). Oil & Filter and Glow plugs just now at 62,000. Gearbox oil at 56k. Comes with Toyota manual, 2 keys, full size spare wheel. Very good CD stereo. Two working sun roofs, More rear seat configurations than a lego set - see the pictures. Never smoked in.
