I bought this car for my wife over 10 years ago. Apart from a couple of trips to Europe it hasn't seen a lot of long journeys. It has been used mainly for shopping trips and completed around 2,500 miles per year. Since I have owned the car it has always been serviced and had any repairs completed by Lloyd BMW at Colne. Recently I removed the run flat tyres, they made it too uncomfortable with the state of the roads these days and actually broke the two rear coil springs which have been replaced. This isn't a model with loads of extras, but in Sport mode you really feel like you are driving something special. Doesn't have Sat Nav, high end radio etc. but the headlights are brilliant. This model does not look out of date in my view, and with this is being the colour scheme for the original advertising, I think it will always be a little sought after. I have only ever seen one other in this colour. The log book says it is silver, but it is more a champagne colour. It is difficult for me to sell this car as it was my wife's pride and joy, so please understand that I want the next owner to be someone who will cherish the car in the way she did. This is a car that needs to be enjoyed. There has been some cosmetic work done to manage small stone chips and refresh the seals on the roof. The tyres have done around 4,000 miles. The wheels were refurbished a couple of years ago, but are now showing signs of wear. The number plate is my wife's initials and comes with the car. The interior is in good condition with some minor wear on the drivers seat bolster. On the basis of full disclosure, the drivers side door was replaced last year. This was following a very low speed contact by a van and the work was completed by Lloyd BMW and has the same warranty as the rest of the car. There is currently a recall out on the car for the replacement of the VANOS adjustment screw. I have all the records of work completed on the car whilst I have owned it. Additionally, I am including the Roadster Bag luggage collection specifically manufactured for this model and designed to allow the roof to be retracted whilst the cases are in the boot.
