Very Special car This Gorgeous low mileage Red 928S , with Black half leather / grey interior , with full leather dash ( factory option ) , From online and paper records I have the car was supplied by Walter Knebel -Porsche -Handler Siegen in Germany, the car was then maintained meticulously from 83-89 by the Porsche main dealer (Lancaster Garages Colchester) which is still in existence today. In 1991 it was first seen by Porsche specialist Autostrasse who then looked after the vehicle through to 2014 during this time the car was serviced & maintained by specialist Porsche engineers who had previously worked for Lancaster , in 97 at 102,511 it had cambelts changed , along with new water pump , new brake discs , new callipers , alternator all fluids , all new sparks plugs , new battery , plus major service. Cambelt was again changed in 2014 by Autostrasse at 119,193 along with its service. It was then acquired by a very well known name in the classic car racing world who owned it till approx 2019 . In 2020 it was sold once again to a private owner who was given the car as a gift for an 80th birthday present this was in fact was the same owner who had owned the car once before back in 1983 !!! the car was his favourite he always said he regretted selling the car it was the longest time he had ever owned a car some 10 years + . The 928 has spent its recent years tucked away in a heated garage coved over with its tailor made red cover the car venturing out only when the suns out, on special days. Exterior is rust free ( not even a rust spot any where ) ,no large scratches , dent free , and still looks fantastic , alloys just been refurbed , good Dunlop tyres old round , accident free . Interior has no scuffs or noticeable wear ( its low miles ) never been smoked in , Underside looks great is spent most of its life in in Southern England ( Always Garaged ) . Have all books , receipts for work done and previous owners main dealer stamps total 16 plus many more invoices for work , repairs , servicing carried out over its 41 years , mot history, (MOT June 2025) included are brochures , both keys ( with fully working remote immobilisers ), all tools , compressor and wheel ,plus Porsche fitted cover.
