It is now time to pass on my stewardship of this fantastic vehicle. If you know about the 944 then you know what an excellent vehicle they are. This is my third 944 I have owned and by far the best. The chassis feels very tight and you feel well connected to the road. It was built in Sep 1989, and registered on 12 Jan 1990. The car has now covered 142000 miles. The bodywork is in excellent condition benefiting from a full respray by its previous owner just a few years ago. The wheels are in good overall condition, but have a few corrosion marks, with excellent rubber. The roof mechanism works well and the electrics work too. There have been two small (1 inch) repairs to the roof where it has been worn by the mechanism. It is fully waterproof. I have cleaned and waterproofed the hood in the summer. Tonneau cover is included. The dash is in good condition with no cracks or fading. The interior was recently refurbished to an excellent condition. The water temp gauge is inoperable. The car is in very good condition overall. The engine and gear box are all very smooth. It has had a new clutch fitted Sep 2019, and a new water pump plus cam belt, full service and MOT, in May 2021, with numerous engine seals also changed. It also has a new battery. The remote central locking is working well with the motors replaced along with new connecting rods (which do go, 2 spares provided). A new DME is supplied too. It has a stainless-steel exhaust system fitted which sounds nice and not too sporty. The engine bay would benefit from some detailing/cleaning if you like that sort of thing. I have a service history file with certificate of authenticity for the car. Comes with 2 keys with alarm fobs. Next MOT due 23/05/2024, Silver, 5+ owners, £10,995
