Description
Presented in arguably the very best colour combination of Grigio Alfieri metallic with light leather interior, this fine Maserati Gran Turismo 4.2 V8 produces one of the finest engine and exhaust notes you can find on the market. Unlike the likes of Ferrari with just two seats and a semi automatic gearbox, the Gran Turismo was produced as touring vehicle designed to cover large amounts of tarmac. She has four proper seats, a large boot and most importantly a very smooth ZF fully Automatic gearbox mated with possibly the best petrol V8 made commonly known as the Ferrari-Maserati engine. The F136 engine was developed by Ferrari and Maserati and produced by Ferrari, specifically for the Maserati Gran truismo and Quattroporte and Ferrari F430, California and 458 to name a few. Most importantly this is my own personal car, so she has been exceptionally well maintained and garaged. It is presented in outstanding condition with two keys, and the blue leather portfolio folder with all literature and service manuals. The vehicle has just been fully serviced by Maserati specialist Parkes Performance using Genuine Maserati dealer parts including: 9 litres of 5W-40 Shell Helix ultra oil, Maserati oil filter and air filter. This has been completed twice is just over 3500 miles as I service my personal vehicles regardless of cost. While inspecting the vehicle (which is extremely clean having being undersealed professionally) we also carried out a 75W-90 Rear differential service and a full brake fluid change. The ZF transmission is also a lifetime oil not requiring to be changed, however a car of this pedigree deserves everything. So we have carried out the all important ZF automatic lifeguard gearbox service with new transmission oil and the sump service kit at great expense. We have also carried out a full Air conditioning R134 service to the entire system by recovering the old gas in the system, and servicing the air conditioning system adding a leak trace dye and lubricating PAG oil. Finally we replaced her coolant expansion tank as they tend to slightly deform over time for anew OEM one, whilst adding complete new coolant as well. Taking into consideration the age of this vehicle, looking around all her bodywork and underneath this magnificant car in great detail (whilst changing all oil and lubricants). We can conclude this vehicle has been exceptionally well maintained though out her lifetime. This is supported by an impressive service history with some spectacular invoices with detailed work such as the cam cover service (receipts included) and stamped service booklet. We have also completed our 69 point health inspection and a new MOT will be provided with the vehicle. During this robust process in our 69 point check, we give you a consumable forecast on the perishables such as tyres and brake pads and discs which can be seen on our photos. We can confirm that tyres are of excellent quality being speed rated Pirelli P Zero ZR tyres with plenty of tyre tread remaining. (new tyres replaced at approx 52, 000 miles). The brake pads are Maserati branded and in fine condition with 70 % remaining to the front and 70 % remaining to the rear with the brake discs in excellent condition. Please take the time to watch our video and view our high quality definition photos for details we provide that other professionals do not. Here at Morgans Motor Vehicles we pride our ourselves on the customer journey and experience.
