Description

Fully serviced. New plugs, air filter, rotor arm, disturber cap, oil, etc. I have owned this car for almost 10 years and the only reason I am selling it because of lack of use, as over the last five years I have only covered 2000 miles. Being a classic car enthusiast, over these years I have cherished this car and it runs and drives without fault. She has had 3 owners and is Mot'd until June 2025 and has a very well cared for 80,300 miles. When I purchased this car I replaced the head gasket and fitted a PRT (pressure relief thermostat) to the front of the car next to the radiator which reduces the "dead space" between the radiator and the hot coolant circulation. I also replaced the internal engine coolant pipes. I have also fitted an MG TF 'snorkel' cabin air intake which is less leak prone than the original MGF type. that I have replaced many parts over the years to keep this beautiful car in top running form. Here is some of the work that I have done to her over the years: Oil and filter change at 80,378 miles (02, 2024)Cam belt, tensioner and water pump change at 79,450 (07,2022)4 new tyres (2023) New windscreen (2023)Engine bay water pipes (as these will corrode from the inside out if they have not been changed) Stainless under body radiator to engine coolant pipes Rear callipers replaced along with pads. Front pads replaced, Head gasket replaced.Pressure Relief Thermostat fitted to the front by the radiator which reduces the 'dead space between the radiator and the engine. This is a beneficial modification to have and the temp gauge has always sat perfectly- never over heated. Clutch slave cylinderMG Trophy 160 air filter box Front bumper modification, Rubber brake pipes Magnecor HT leadsSpark Plugs, Lower front wish bonesHead lights re 'chromed' by DualTF air intake Driver seat replaced as the seat bolster had collapsed Central locking mechanism replaced Later model door cards fitted, but they still have the same material as the seats. The stamped service history book goes up to 24/07/07 to a milage of 57,984. I have bills from the previous owner. It was dry stored and off the road at 68,288 miles and I purchased this car in March 2015. Body work is clean and straight and is lovely. In my ownership the car has always been very careful where she's parked and has always been stored/parked off the road. Next MOT due 04/06/2025, Green, 4 owners, £2,850
