For sale is my beloved 2006 Cayman 987S in Arctic Silver Metallic. I've owned this car since June last year and it's given me nothing but utter joy; however, shifting financial priorities means that unfortunately it's time for somebody else to enjoy this glorious machine. Spec highlights include 19" SportDesign wheels, PASM, sports seats, automatic A/C and sports steering wheel. It has a full service history with loads of receipts from the last few years, mainly from Porsche specialists. It was last serviced in January 2024 at Maundrell & Co, including a full checkover, new brake fluid and a new OSF coil spring. Plenty of other work has been done work done in my ownership too (I've spent over 4000 all in), including new A/C condensers, new passenger window regulator and a full rear bumper respray; and the previous owner had just had drive belt, gearbox oil and spark plugs changed when I bought it. It's never failed an MOT and passed its last one with no advisories - next one due March 2025. I had Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres fitted all around in August 2023 - these are still in excellent condition with plenty of life left. It uses very little oil, which has remained consistent throughout my ownership, with no smoke or engine knocking noise, so no worries about bore scoring. It also comes with a Porsche Certificate Of Authenticity, which is a nice addition. All in all, this is a beautiful example of a brilliant driver's car and I'm gutted to be selling it. The spec is classy and really stands out, and the condition of the car speaks for itself - there are a few 987s in the car park at work and mine is frequently complimented on both its spec and condition. The driving experience is magical, these cars have to be driven to be believed and they get under your skin like nothing else. The engine pulls strong and sings over your left shoulder, the handling is pin sharp, the body control is superb and with PASM in soft mode it's incredibly comfortable, especially with those sports seats. If I was able to keep it forever I really would, as I can't think of a car better suited to having fun on British roads. I'm already missing the Porsche magic driving its replacement every day, and know it will make whoever buys it incredibly happy. I'm looking for 14250 but would be open to sensible offers.
