Runs and drives superbly with all new bilstein shocks and Eibach springs it sits only slightly lower than standard and has a stance that compliments the wheel choice. Very rare "Recaro sportline" Interior fitted. I was tempted to source an original 1985 interior and sell the Sportline, but on reflection a new owner could easily achieve 2 to 3k for it and fit whatever they choose. I think it really fits with this style.The mileage of 60000 is believed to be correct as this car was off road for many years and the previous Mot's back this up, an engine overhaul was carried out including rebore and crankshaft polish, which was assumed to be part of the re commissioning work.The body shop restoration work included full glass and engine removal and all corrosion addressed paying particular attention to the rear hood channels (at the request of Mr Chorley) then re-spraying in the original Mars red, and the underside renovating and treating with Raptor body coloured coating. New bushes, suspension and wishbones, and consumables were also fitted during the re-build. A Kenwood sound system with in-phase sub woofer and speakers give excellent sound quality even with hood down.Twin headlight grille fitted but the original Quad grille will be included.Due to this car being a "barn find" there is no original service history therefore the restoration work and engine overhaul eases any worries. Recent timing belt, water pump, battery and radiator. Just had a recent full check over and tune up from leading specialist (Dubvault). Looks and drives superbly.
