Hello and welcome to the for sale advert for my much loved Defender. If you have any questions feel free to call / text / whatsapp anytime. There is only space for 24 pictures in the advert but I have just taken 60 odd pictures along with many more from over the last 10 years so I can forward them on and supply any others or videos on request.Land Rover Defender 2.4 Puma 90 Hard Top LCV2007 57 PlateV5 in my name104,423 miles (will change slightly as still being used)MOT until Jan 20252x keys2 previous ownersRegistered New 30th Oct 2007Boost Alloys wrapped with 2 new tyres this year and 2 were new last year (BF Goodrich KO2 A/T - General Grabber on the spare)I bought the Landy back in Aug of 2015 from an old man near Dartmoor. He had bought it from Dartmoor National Park hence the wacky (but cool) two tone paint job (Keswick from factory pre two tone dartmoor livery). When I bought the car it had done 54,000 miles and I have done 50,000 in the last 10 years of owning her.I own and run a property rental company down in beautiful South Hams (Salcombe, Devon) so up until 2 weeks ago it was all sign written up. The tight Devon lanes haven't been kind to the body work over the years hence the odd ding and scrape.I have maintained it as and when it has needed things done to it. In the last 12 months I have spent just shy of 8,000 pounds on it with receipts to prove the work.Work carried out this year:New rear galvanised cross member and sundries 3,259New Starter motor and main fuse - New wiper motor plus extras 986New fuel tank - hoses - seals - clamps 698New fuel filter - lift pump - number plate light - new prop UJJ - 413Sept 2024 New Rear exhaust - Prestige valet - Sign writing removal - Full Polish 709Plus many more and that's just in the last 12 months. I have older receipts from over the years.I was going to get the chassis rust treated and wax oiled but decided not to as I want the new owner to see what it's like. Plenty of surface rust but the chassis is solid and no holes and no welding. The new owner can then decide on how to treat it. If I were to keep it I would get it fully treated with Lanoguard (I've been told it's the best).Just to clarify that in my ownership it has never been used to put a boat in the water so it has only been a victim of sea air. I have used it every now and then to tow my horse trailer up to Dartmoor.Outside of the car-I had it polished last week, the full detail shown in pics. Next MOT due 08/01/2025, Short wheel-base, Green, 3 owners, £17,500, No VAT
