The performance and noise are incredible, the interior is a cosseting and luxurious place to be and the shooting brake body style brings family practicality in spades. The X218 CLS provides just enough tech to make life better, such as heated and cooled multicontour memory seats, automatic cruise control and automatic brake assist but without an overload of nannying tech that you only want to switch off. The infotainment has been upgraded to enable wireless CaPlay and Android Auto, using the original screen and controls. The car was originally the Mercedes Benz UK press car and as such was highly specified from new, the build sheet's special equipment codes covers 3 pages! Highlights include Technorit Grey metallic paint over Exclusive Passion Leather interior in alpaca grey, grey Dinamica (suede) roof lining, gloss black ash wood trim, Harmon Kardon Logic 7 surround system, keyless entry and start, adaptive headlights, limited slip differential and a whole host more. I've had this amazing machine for almost 2 years and have enjoyed 14,000 miles of trouble free motoring in that time. Myself and the previous owners have kept on top of everything the car has needed, a large stack of paperwork including all invoices from purchase to its most recent interim service attests to this. In that time I've been proactive with my maintenance, replacing front disks and pads, all four crank angle sensors (they leak oil into the engine harness), one of the intake pipes, battery, all four tyres for Bridgestone Potenza Sports and most recently the gearbox and limited slip diff were serviced, including a new gearbox sump pan as the original was slightly corroded and looking scruffy.
