Description

Alfa Romeo 156 GTA Sportwagon Selespeed. Low mileage 2005 model imported from Japan so the bodywork is in good condition as it hasn't seen winter roads in the UK. The paint is in overall very good condition for it's age and I have had the roof and front grills resprayed. There are a few blemishes and small stone chips but as you can see from the pictures it's in amazing condition. The car was imported in 2022 and I am the second owner. I have had a huge amount of work done on the car before using it including fitting all new belts, fluid and oil, a new water pump, a limited slip diff., lowered Eibach springs, new Bilstein shocks, Eibach 26mm anti roll bar, front engine strut, reconditioned brake calipers, drilled and grooved brake discs, new pads and brake pipes, a ragazzon quad exhast, new battery, new MAF , air filter and housing and regassed the aircon. The wheels have been refurbished in the correct GTA colour with new badges and wheel nuts, new roof arial, Xenon headlamps and upgraded bulbs. The interior has been professionally restored and the black Momo seats are like new. I have fitted new original GTA floor mats. The Bose sound system now has a new DAB radio Bluetooth Pioneer head unit, new Bose subwoofer and a pop up display and reversing camera. Other additions and accessories that come with the car include alloy petrol cap, full GTA tool kit, UK owners manuals in the wallet, GTA Brochures , stainless steel GTA kick plates, boot protector and original locking Alfa Romeo 156 roof bars. The speedometer shows 120,540km ( 74900 miles) and it has only done 3,500 miles in my ownership. The 250bhp Busso 3.2 V6 engine is superb to drive and the F1 style paddle shift 6 speed gearbox is a joy, but best of all is the sound it makes!!! 0 to 60 is 6 seconds and its good for 150mph, so its really fun to drive. I have lots of invoices for the work completed. I am selling it as we are to downsizing and wont have the space to keep it. The 156 was car of the year in 1999 and its design has stood the test of time as it still looks great today. Alfa Romeo 156's are a rare sight these days but a GTA V6 Sportwagon is even rarer! This makes for a fun and practical performance car as it has 4 doors and can carry 4 people and their luggage comfortably. It passed its MOT without any advisories, next one due in Oct 2025. Everything works as it should and it comes with two keys. The personal registration will not be sold with the car. Next MOT due 23/10/2025, Silver, 2 owners, £15,000
