Description
I am reluctantly offering my 2009 Honda Legend EX for sale. This car has been in my possession since 2019, and has never once let me down..In that time I have replaced just the battery and alternator..PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING...The car ran out of MOT at the end of August this year, this is because the VSA light flagged up in July. My garage removed the ABS pump which I then had sent away to a specialist, who returned it to me, stating that it was functioning perfectly. It appears that error code 84.1 is causing the issue. Which is a sensor in the differential that needs changing. I got a quote for the part from a Honda dealer of 76.90. Apart from that the car will fly through an MOT (it hasn't failed one in its life yet) mechanically the car is sound, with just under 93.000 on the clock. It has been regularly maintained, and I have the service history from new. It drives like a dream, and is very fast, sporting the 291Bhp, 3500 V6 engine. Everything apart from the diff sensor works perfectly, and she drives with no bangs or rattles whatsoever. Garages where I live tend not to want to do jobs of this nature, I suspect because there isn't enough money in it for them. Because the car needs this job done, I am offering the car for sale for just 2.200 pounds. That's a lot less than other models advertised, some with considerably more mileage are in the 3500/bracket. Steering, brakes, Sat nav, 6 CD changer, suspension and electrics are all in perfect order, and the car comes with a slide and tilt sunroof, and sumptuous leather interior, electric everything ! and a 5 speed automatic gearbox. So this is an absolute bargain for someone with a bit of mechanical knowledge ! The leather interior is also in good condition. These cars are built to last a lifetime. Please no timewasters. The car is offered at a much lower price because of the sensor replacement needing doing. It's totally HPI clear and I welcome any check. The car is driveable, but because it's out of MOT, a prospective buyer would either need trade plates, or a transporter in order to stay within the law. I have another car now, so the price is to clear, but it's been my daily drive for the last 6 years. I purchased it in 2019 with 54000 miles on the clock, and since that time, the car has served me well. But now I'd rather it go to someone that can put a little bit of effort in, and be rewarded by just how Honda cars are in terms of reliability and build quality. You will not be disappointed. Next MOT due 29/08/2024, Full service history, Black, 4 owners, £2,200
