Description

Sadly decided it's time to sell my FSi as we're moving to the USA next year and need to reduce down to one car sadly. Part of me wants to keep it as it appreciates over time but I can't really justify leaving a car in the UK which hardly gets used. It still puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it. The perfect combination of performance, comfort, load carrying, handling, economy and reliability. The light weight aluminium chassis and sports suspension means this is probably one of the nicest hatchbacks I've ever driven.See below the extensive list of extras and upgrades including an A2 cars fitted 6 speed gearbox! (gamechanger for the FSi on the motorway - can cruise at 75 mph at less than 3000 RPM and more than 50 mpg). 6 speed Audi TT gearbox, Cruise Control, DIS, Climate Control, 6 CD change modified for bluetooth aux in, Red leather sports seats with electric lumbar support, Original Audi documentation and dealer service history up to 80,000 miles, Current MOT until April 2025 - no advisories, No warning lights - drives great and still pulls like a train whilst averaging 45+ MPG.Brakes (discs and pads) replaced at 141,000., Meyle top mounts and bushes at 135,000. New Clutch along with the 6 speed gearbox retrofit in 2017. New Alternator in 2018. Most of the coolant hoses and clamps have been replaced over the last 3 years. New inlet manifold flap solenoid 2 months ago. EGT sensor, exhaust back box and fuel pressure sensor replaced in the last 2 years. 4x nearly new tyres riding on aftermarket deep dish 16" rims - much lighter and stronger than the original Audi sport 17s and I think this is the best combination of handling, economy and ride comfort - as you can see from the photos the rims are quite badly corroded and need restoring but they are strong and look awesome. Full service with new plugs, new oil and filter and cabin filter in July this year. Steel underbody components recently cleaned and painted to prevent corrosion. Of course the aluminium body is in perfect condition and all the original underbody covers are still in tact! The car has been meticulously maintained by me (aircraft engineer) since I bought it in 2016 at 80,000 miles and I've had 65,000 miles of trouble free driving.Everything works (to my knowledge). Seat folding and removal mechanisms are spot on (turns into a van in seconds!).Bad points: Rims, some damage to rear left passenger seat base (spilt something which has made the leather rough), small speckles on paint. Next MOT due 22/04/2025, Black, 4 owners, £3,000
