This car has been my family's pride and joy, so extremely well looked after. She has the larger IMS bearing, and it was checked when the engine came out for the coolant pipe work and no issues. She was bore scoped a few years ago and no issues. Zero smoke on start up, since her oil change 2500 miles ago last October she's used no oil at all and no sooty pipes at the rear. Being the base 997 they are not as susceptible to the bore score issues thankfully. No engine rebuild as not needed but pretty much every other job has been done. The water pump and low thermo were fitted late last year, I had the suspension done I think around october 23, engine mounts, full service including spark plugs and coil packs all done at the same time. Its due an oil service and MoT this month whixh will be done shortly. A couple of months ago i had an air con refresh including aircon rads changed out and all recharged. Ive also had the brake lines replaced all 4 corners. She's absolutely perfect and I question why I'm selling as I'm worried if I don't like the replacement as much I won't find a 997 in as good condition as my one now. I'm not just saying it, the interior looks like a brand new car. I love it and very proud of the condition. The engine out was 2021 when the coolant pipes were all refreshed back to front. That's when the IMS was all checked out and given the OK. The intermediate shaft seal and rear main oil seal were replaced at this time because it made sense with the engine out. I've got the original headunit and rear light clusters as well as the original single tail pipes. The paint work is in brilliant condition and having only 3 owners since new including myself and before me my dad we know everything about this car. Stack of paper work going back to the original purchase invoice. 4 new tyres 2000 miles ago. If your looking for a special 997 that's come from 997 enthusiasts then this is the car for you.
