Saab 9-3 Aero HOT (High Output Turbo) Convertible 2002 offered for sale.This is a rare 'HOT' version of the Saab Aero 2ltr, and comes with a long MOT until 5th September 2025, and low mileage for year of just under 97,000 miles.This (HOT) version of the Aero develops 210 bhp compared to the usual Aero which only has 180 bhp output.The subtle spoilers, back-end lift, and firmer suspension results in superior handling compared to normal Saabs, and greater control on twisting/undulating roads. This HOT Aero comes with an interior trimmed with slate grey leather, and has Wolf-Race wheels with low profile tyres.Bodywork is in good condition for the year.The information display is pixilated (common issue), replacements are readily available. Overall a tidy car, but not perfect, which is reflected in the price (mint HOT Aeros of this year would be priced at twice as much).I have replaced the direct ignition cassette, new spark plugs, replaced the vacuum hoses, and put in fresh brake/clutch fluid. A pleasure to drive this modern classic, and the acceleration of this car when the turbo kicks in is exhilarating. Viewings encouraged, as offered for private sale with no returns.
