I'm sadly parting with my much loved Mercedes CLK280 convertible. It drives beautifully and the 3 litre V6 is a smooth as a peach. I took out the original CD player/radio and replaced it with a Pioneer Android Auto / Carplay flat screen media unit. The front speakers have also been upgraded so the sound is very good for a car of this era. To my mind the body style on this model is the best Mercedes ever produced and the silver body and blue canvass roof look gorgeous. The car has been regularly serviced since I bought it in 2019. It had 88,000 on the clock then and now has 102,000. She also has the added benefit that as the vehicle was registered in 2005 she is ULEZ exempt. So you can drive her round low emission zones without fear of retribution. Some suspension parts were replaces at the last MOT and the alloys were refurbished last year. The only minor drawback is that the boot separator is stuck down (has been sinsce I bought it) It's a lot of lovely car for the money. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face every time you drive it!.
