Begrudging sale of my much loved FN2 Type-R. A change of circumstances has forced me to switch to a boring diesel commuter, meaning the car is no longer being used. I know the sensible thing to do would be to revert to stock and sell off the parts, but my sentimentality wants to see the car in the hands of somebody who'll enjoy it and who was ideally looking for the same modifications as a baseline. Aesthetically, it has a few age-related marks as is to be expected with a 15 year-old car but I do believe it's one of the nicest Milano Reds on the road and always gets me complements at shows and owners club meets. The car drives amazingly and VTEC engages when it should. (the crossover sounds extra throaty with the cold air feed to the K&N filter through the fog scoop) I have spent thousands on this car over the last few years and will be genuinely sad to see it go. I've addressed most of the common trouble areas with FN2s - The roof has been completely stripped back before any rust could take hold (and professionally resprayed in Nighthawk black to match the GP kit and Mugen spoiler blade, which I think really sets it off). The boot is dry, and the car is mostly free of the dreaded Milano Red lacquer peel, with the exception of a small area below the spoiler.
