Classic eye catching investment - 1972 Yellow Mercedes 350 SL with black leather interior.It has classic car status and is exempt from MOT and road tax however, a number of MOT Documents are available to support the 84,817 miles. Last MOT was in 2018.The car has a wind deflector and the original Hard top (but no hoist), both in very good condition.This 3.5 litre V8 has been stored in a dry garage and overall the bodywork and chrome is in good/very good condition. The exhaust system is stainless steel.The inner door panels and underside have been regularly wax oiled up to the point the owner stopped driving the car.The instruments/electrics and cooling system are in working order with the exception of the windscreen washer function. The vehicle has a 3 or 4 speed (sorry not sure) automatic gear box.It has power assisted steering but please note there is no cruise control.A recent running problem has been rectified at the expense of a new genuine Mercedes fuel pump and filter, a refurbished alternator and new voltage regulator and the car is running well. That said it would benefit from a thorough service.The body work in very good condition (in our view) but please note the minor repair to the soft top and minor blistering around the badge on the boot.
