Where do I start !! I bought this car with the intention of keeping it long term . It was in good condition when I bought it of a middle aged gentleman who'd had it for 2 years . I'm very particular and like things just so . So I went about getting up to my standards . I had a full front end respray inc blending into the doors for a perfect finished . Then once the paint had gases out had the car paint corrected and ceramic coated ( Gyeon) . I then under sealed the underside of the car using bilt Hamber products , refurbished the interior . Then my attention turned to the suspension . Although it was all in working order I wanted to refresh it all .. so this consisted of new lower arms , inner / outer tie rods , top mounts , drop links and a full Bilstein B12 kit ( dampers / springs ) . Obviously full wheels alignment after . It handles and feels like new , absolutely fantastic to drive . I've also added new wheels ( again ceramic coated ) from BM auto sport . Tyres and brakes are all good for many miles ( ebc / Goodyear ) . It has a m performance gear knob and a single din head unit with apple car play , small active sub . Lots of other bits and bobs . As preventative maintenance Ive replaced all the common oil gaskets that can leak ( mine weren't but felt after 18 odd years it was a good thing to do ) so I bought genuine bmw rocker cover , and both oil filter housing gaskets , along with new bolts . I also fitted a new water pump and thermostat for good measure . This was all done when I also had an inspection 2 service done in the car , inc spark plugs ( 500 miles ago ) The roof motor has been relocated to the boot and works perfectly. As you can see I've spent a lot of time , money and love on the car ! All the above was done in the last 2k miles and 6 months . It needs nothing for another 13500 ( when it's next service is due ) As said this was all done with the intention of keeping it long term .. but an opportunity came up to buy my dream sports car and I took it . There is no point in me having 2 two seater sports cars ..along with 2 other vehicles to use .
