Description
This Triumph Stag 3.0L V8 MkII 1975 is in excellent condition. There has been lots of work done over the last 3 years. It was fully resprayed just 2 years ago. The body was taken back to metal. It was checked for any rot and repaired accordingly (there was very little). At that time we also had the seats and head rests re foamed (the foam was supplied by Aldridge Trim). Since then, it's had a brand new roof, supplied by Aldridge Trim and fitted by EJ Ward. The roof frame was also removed and fully re furbished. EJ Ward also fitted new carpets, and rubber seals all round (including the window to door seal).A new steering rack, wheel bearings and track rod ends have also been fitted, together with rear shocks and coils. Mechanically, it seems excellent. It's also had a new battery and alternator fitted within the last year. The engine fires up first time. It's fitted with electronic ignition. It also has an XL aluminium radiator and header tank, which prevents any over heating issues. Triumph developed this car with the American market in mind. As such, it has many features you would normally expect in a modern car, such as electric windows, power steering and most importantly, the engine was designed to run with lead free fuel. The car is fitted with a modern bluetooth radio, however I do still have the original push button radio that will come with the car. I also have the original steering wheel (in good condition) and the hard top, which does need to be refurbished. It really is a lovely car. There are still little things, which can be improved, but hey ho ... that's the joy of it all. Nonetheless, if you're looking for a thoroughly usable classic car to just cruise about in in or go serious touring with, this is the baby. Next MOT due 03/03/2025, White, 5+ owners, £21,900
