Honda civic 1.8 Si Petrol for sale. Taunton. Private seller. History:- We bought our Honda Civic a little over 4 years ago from Howe motors in Wales. It had done 79,000 miles and was in excellent condition. The service book showed it had recently had it's 100,000 mile service. We have maintained this car well with twice yearly services and it has proved to be very reliable. The only time it let us down was when the original battery failed. A local garage did any work beyond basic servicing. We have receipts for the work done. It has now done around 122,000 miles and continues to drive well. It has been a great family car. Good points...The model is the Civic Si which is the higher specification version of the 1.8 petrol Civic. It has reversing sensors fitted. It has a Pioneer SPH DA120 touch screen system that replaces the original radio although the screen looks a bit worn. Viofo dashcam fitted. Good service history. It's been well looked after. Recent Michelin Pilot tyres. Mechanically sound. Everything works as it should, the air con, the music system...everything. Spare key (which cost us around 120). Service history (up until when we got it) and twice yearly oil and filter changes since. Two former keepers before ourselves.It drives well with a responsive engine, positive feel to the steering, no unusual noises and good suspension.Bad points...The boot lid looks scrappy as the lacquer is peeling off. There is a crack in the lower corner of the windscreen (its been there a while). Reason for sale...This Is a reluctant sale as we know the peeling lacquer on the boot and the mileage mean it will not reach a high price despite the cars dependability. However, partly because the kids have grown and partly because we no longer need to make regular motorway journeys, we are looking to get something a little smaller. I include the following service items in the sale...Oil - fully synthetic Castrol Edge. Oil filter- genuine Honda which are the ones to use. Air filter. Wiper blades. Any inspection is welcome. Likewise, any test drive.If you arrange to come and see it then I will not arrange for any subsequent, potential buyers to see it until after you've had a look.
