The car has been well looked after. Always started straight away, every time, and ran smooth. Unfortunately once the oil reaches around 80-90 degrees it drops oil pressure and flags up a warning light to turn off the engine. Increasing the revs will bring the oil pressure back up to manufacturers spec (checked with pressure gauges) but not ideal to drive long distance without repair. I have replaced the oil pump, oil filter and cleaned the sump/strainer. According to specialists, this could be a bottom shell that needs replacing, but have not had a full diagnostic done. Along with the car, there is a second engine that I bought to swap into the vehicle, so 1 decent engine could be made from the 2 if you wish to purchase the engine. I have neither the time or space to do this myself. It also comes with all the other engines parts, including turbo (K03) and also 2 different front exhausts/cats. The car has multiple modifications:- Turbo back exhaust system- Turbo has been re sealed/welded- Hard high flow intake pipes fitted- GFB DV+ diverter dump valve with uprated valve- Audi R8 racing coil packs with high spec spark plugs- Pro ram air filter- 40mm H&R lowering springs- Wheel spacers fitted- DSG stage 2 map (Engine map removed)- Upgraded shift paddles for DSG- MDI with Bluetooth, USB & iPod connections- Powder coated rims with new(ish) tyres fitted- Custom spoiler fitting to boot lid- Custom livery kit along with a sun strip and some pinstriping- Blacked out VW badges and other badges removed, along with the rear wiper delete. This would be a great project car for someone with the time and space to do it. The car was a great runner and has been well looked after by a mechanically skilled owner. Under 110K on the clock, full service history up to 2020 (was sat for a while between 2021 - 2023 so hasn't been driven between besides monthly start ups/checks, up until Oct 2024.
