Sadly I am now selling this much loved car having 'owned' it since new; technically there is 1 other owner as it was a company car for the first three years (a management car, not a sales car). I have spent thousands on it over the years (I still have most of the invoices!), including upgraded 17" alloys, however it has now failed its MOT with an estimate cost of repair between 800 and 1200 pounds. So this just feels one expense too many and I feel it would be better looked after by someone who can do work on the car themselves. Both the interior and exterior are pretty good for a car of this age, and when it is clean with the roof down the combination of external blue and internal cream looks really nice. There's a bit of leather tear on the edge of the driver seat, and also a few electronic niggles: it needs a new rear parking sensor; the side view mirrors do not operate electronically; the electric seats have lost one or two of their adjustments; and the main key does not open the driver door remotely. The roof has always worked fine however, and I will include the windbreaker. Overall it has been very well looked after in a home without pets, children or smokers, and has a full BMW service history (most recently serviced in April 2024).
