Description

It is with great regret that I offer my Land Rover Discovery 2 4.0 V8 Petrol ES 7-Seater for sale. I sought the best I could when I bought this 4 years ago and found this pristine low mileage 2003/53 model in Zambezi Silver with beige leather interior. It has still only completed 62,000 miles from new! It has all the usual ES specification, 18 inch alloy wheels, mud flaps, twin electric sunroofs, roof rails, front foglamps, rear parking sensors. In the interior, it has full leather seats with contrast piping, a leather steering wheel, powered and heated front seats, Harmon Kardon premium audio (with a replacement radio), cruise control, dual zone air conditioning, genuine Land Rover rubber mats throughout and an integrated compass in the rear-view mirror. It wears it's 21 years well, still looking extremely smart, the interior shows very little signs of age (we are a pet-free, non-smoking family). Whilst in my ownership the leather seats have been regularly fed to keep them looking pristine and the carpets look like new under the rubber mats. I have the original handbook and service record (there are a couple of gaps before June '20, but low mileage between services). Since I have owned it, I have had an oil change in Mar '22 at 58,332, and oil and coolant at 59,950 in Aug '23. I have had a new air conditioning pump fitted and some engine work following an inlet manifold gasket failure. This year's service included automatic gearbox fluid and filter. Last week's MoT has 2 advisories - the front brake pipes have underseal on them and one minor for a crack in the windscreen although this is below the vision lines so not a problem in use. It has had only light use during my ownership and has not had a tow bar fitted. The only detrimental blemishes are a small crack in the front bumper and occasional reverse gear slip. Now my husband has retired, we don't need 2 large cars, so here is my lovely Discovery 2 V8 ES Auto. It is rapidly becoming a highly sought after future classic, with the added benefit with the V8 being ULEZ exempt!. Next MOT due 16/11/2025, Part service history, Silver, 4 owners, £9,750
