I have owned this 2006 built, very late model factory TD5 XS County Station Wagon since 2012. Intending long term ownership I spent over 9,500 on it in 2019 (at circa 80,000 miles) with Land Rover specialist ACHSV Ltd to address some age related issues (mainly unseen) and to restore it to first rate condition. . Work included new body seals, repaired and galvanised body strengtheners and sill runners, removal of aluminium corrosion, full respray (excl roof), underside stone chip protection, new fuel filter and housing, stainless bolts to all doors, new rear door, body cappings treated, new door handles, new seat box sides, blasted and galvanised rear body stays, new seal fillers to alpine windows, new side steps, Stainless pins to bulkhead vents, new seals to rear windows, new road springs, new mirror arms, body panels refitted with stainless bolts, chassis rust treatment and coated in underseal inside and out. It has had light use over the years, mainly for towing a horse box to pony club events, dog walks and occasional shooting, it will be a much missed but just doesn't get used anymore.
