The engine needs a head gasket change , some minor rusty patches mostly sill ends , other rusty parts have been attended to , comes with head gasket and head bolts , also a new unused clutch in a box , other spares include 3 brake pipe hoses one was fitted to the off side front when the discs and pads were replaced in 2019 , front tyres new in Oct 2023 rear tyres Oct 2024 , rear drums have new shoes 2024 , and new cylinders 2024 . Has a DAB+/CD sony radio installed and a dashcam , the original (to me) pioneer Cassette radio is included along with Haynes manuals for AX and SAXO , ran out of time as car needed every day and lost the workshop when downsizing move and only one parking space now , despite requiring constant attention to the engine , oil and coolant the car runs well enough happiest around 50mph on urban roads , faster put to much pressure on the head gasket and the oil goes into the coolant and pushes out under the radiator cap , has a current MOT till next , September. Had previously been an insurance write off back in 2003 , i saw this when I bought it in 2018 , no details but the drivers door is a mismatch and there was underfloor damage which has been recently corrected Sept 2024. under the bonnet non structural holes have been repaired on the wheel arches welded panels and under sealed throughout underneath , new handbrake cables fitted Sept 24, rear exhaust box has been repaired a few times , and isn't the right one its oval not round , just needs someone to give it some extra TLC and a classic car is ready to use . I used to drive it up till last week 17th Nov , approximately 20 miles every day , and it was very reliable . Next MOT due 28/09/2025, Purple, 5+ owners, £400
