Having owned Sid since 3rd June 2020, a larger car was needed as I now do a lot more miles than I had in the past. That said, with his 1.6 engine, covering long distances isn't an issue. Cruise control and climate control make motorway journeys easy, and with a Euro N-Cap 5* rating when new, I've always been in safe hands. The interior is very clean with no rips and tears to any of the seats. There are no stale smells or damp as I have always kept him clean and he has never been smoked in. He has a full service history and everything works. If anything has ever needed to be replaced or fixed it has been done at reputable and trusted local workshops, where he has also been regularly serviced. A noisy water pump, brake discs and pads, gearbox oil, brake fluid, worn drop links, and the coolant expansion bottle have all been replaced in my ownership, and last year a full (standard) exhaust system was fitted (see receipts). A new windscreen was fitted last month. The tyres are all Bridgestone Potenza with lots of tread remaining, all four having been fitted together in 2023. Sid is in good condition, but he isn't pristine. He is showing some signs of age cosmetically but nothing that I would consider to be excessive or concerning for an 11 year old DS3. The wheels do have some kerbing but are not buckled or cracked. The paintwork is mostly good but there are some age related marks on the front bumper and bonnet, and we have attended to small rust patches that began to appear below the door mirror mounts (as is very common on a DS3). The mileage may increase slightly as my parents are using him pending the sale. Lastly, please don't call asking for huge discounts, or offering WBAC prices - if I wanted a WBAC price I'd have taken him to them but he's better than that! I want to get close to the advertised price - it's a realistic price for the condition and the way in which he has been looked after.
