Description

In the very month that Jaguar stopped making petrol cars, here is the quintesential legend: a V8 Jag. Presented in wonderful low-mileage condition, RF07LHC comes with a with full service history (Jag and specialist), and a fantastic 12-month MOT. Last service was a full major on 20th November 2024. Full book pack, and receipts going back to the purchase of the vehicle. With a gorgeous 4.2 V8 engine, mated to the fabulous ZF 6-speed automatic box, this is a car that lives to gobble up the miles. With only 65,700 from new, this car drives absolutely beautifully, and doesn't miss a beat. The gearbox is smooth and precise, the engine pulls exactly as you'd hope, and the brakes are sharp. With a full service history from main dealers and marquee specialists, and a new 12-month MOT, this car is ready to be enjoyed. The bodywork is in great order with no dents or signs of corrosion. The paint and trim still look superb for the age, with a glossy finish, and only a few minor stone chips on the bonnet to report. The black fabric hood is in great condition, having just been treated and re-waterproofed. The roof, along with all the electrics, functions perfectly. The spacesaver spare wheel, and tools are present, and appear never to have been used. All four wheels look smart, and have no scuffs or damage. The interior presents well, in line with the low mileage. The seat bolsters remain firm, and in great condition. The rear seats have barely been used. The cabin electrics/systems, including the Satnav, radio aerial, aircon, and bluetooth, all function perfectly. The only blemish to note is that the start/stop button is showing some wear, as can be seen in the photographs. Quite simply a fantastic example of a wonderful car. Sadly one now confined to the history books. Originally developed under Geoff Lawson, the XK was the replacement for the long-lived XJS. Sharing a DNA that stretches back to the E-Type, this was one of a long line of illustrious grand tourers. The X150 second generation XK, introduced in 2006, is a terrific car, featuring an innovative bonded/riveted aluminium chassis, and wonderful styling, mixing the best of the old with the best of the new. HPI clear. Car is situated in Corsham, Wiltshire. Next MOT due 15/11/2025, Full service history, Black, 5+ owners, £12,750
