Description
1999 BMW 323i 2.5 Straight Six - 5 Speed Manual - No ReserveI bought this lovely BMW just over two years ago, after painstakingly searching to find one that wasn't rusty or modified, and it's been my daily driver ever since. It's been an excellent car in terms of comfort, reliability, ease of use and it has that gloriously smooth straight six. These are becoming the modern classic BMW to have, with the rear drive 6 cylinder small saloon recipe that put the brand on the map whilst still being practical and drivable on a daily basis.Good Points* Full service history with service stamps in the book from new.* Receipts for the work completed within my ownership - all completed at a BMW specialist.* The work I've done includes:* A new alternator (February 2024)* New front brakes discs and pads (February 2024)* New ignition switch (October 2023)* Full service (October 2023)* New off-side front drop link (March 2023)* Very little rust, especially for an E46! The wheel arches are still intact and in good condition. All four are pictured here.* No modifications - original spec.* Even comes with its original BMW toolkit and warning triangle.* Three keys* Air conditioning works well.* MOT until March 2025 - its previous advisories on brake pads have been dealt with as it had new front brake pads and discs in Feb 2024Things to note (only cosmetic!)* There are some small stone chips on the bonnet* It has some minor scuff marks on the front bumper/corner (see pictures)* There's two small dents on the rear left hand corner and another small mark on the rear bumper (see pictures)* The front right wing panel has a 'grazing' type paint effect. It's very light and is only visible in certain lights but is there.Tax is a reasonable 345 per year and classic car insurance is dirt cheap, under 200 per year for me. It is not ULEZ exempt.I'm selling as I no longer need a car on a day-to-day basis after a recent house move and want it to get the love and care it deserves.Any questions, please ask. Next MOT due 04/07/2025, Full service history, Silver, 2 owners, £1,980
